Deep in the bowels of the Iron Expanse, the great collection of Living Metal fortresses in the Empire’s heart, a train is discovered — a never before seen wonder of ancient machinery. Like everything in the Iron Expanse, the machine is Doctily made: bio-mechanical and designed for a spider-like people used to walking in any surface.
The party, a group of contractors hired by the Empire, are tasked to simply ride the train to its final destination — where ever that may be. Of course, how to control such an alien device… keeping it fueled (with what???), and facing it off against the terrors that dwell this deep underground are all challenges the party will face!
Additionally, the party will not be alone. Representatives from all over the Odayos will want to benefit from this new technology… people with secrets and daggers in their boots — each trapped with each other in a breathing, beating Living Metal box.
