I feel like it's been a while since we had an idol anime that was at least in part actually about the idol INDUSTRY, as opposed to a fairly idealized thing where all of that is cut out (eg. Love Live). I'm fond of both kinds of shows but it's a nice change of pace from Waccha Primagi and two Love Live seasons in a row. I really like the choreography (which I think is rotoscoped but I'm not 100% sure), and the bit in episode 2 with the manager calling out the strengths and weaknesses of each girl's performances was a lot of fun, although if you care less about idols as a thing I could imagine finding it tedious or maybe even annoying.

How about you, have you seen it, Cohost? What did you think of it?
