Hi, I'm a huge nerd who's into retro games, TRPGs, and collecting laserdiscs. I've been watching a lot of old films over the last couple years, and I've been writing about them here recently in hopes of getting other people interested. Check out my top 10 films of the 1940s list or my top 1011 films of the 1950s list if that kind of thing interests you at all. I used to be into collecting Roman coins, but I started looking more into the legal, cultural, and archeological problems that causes and decided that I couldn't continue in good conscience. But that's where I got this screen name, a rough equivalent of "Happy days are here again" that would surround the image of a guy getting stabbed on mid-4th century Roman coins.
Edit: and now I have a top 10 1960s film list
And here's a top ten less obvious 1980s film picks list. (1970s list is coming eventually)
And here's a thread on 10 other old films that I think are worth watching.
