That cat shelter just got back to me. Said I didn't make their shortlist unfortunately, but could they keep my details on file for a few months in case an opportunity comes up?
And, well, no they can't, seeing as I've had to move back in with my parents in another part of the country. I don't live round that way to possibly volunteer with them anymore lmfao.
But... I'm taking it as a positive sign? Okay, so I wasn't one of the better candidates if I didn't make the shortlist, but I also can't be completely terrible if they still wanted to keep me in mind.
So. Gonna try and get back on with my animal behaviour & welfare course. And keep an eye out for opportunities round here too.
Idk. It's a little bit of good news in my books rn.
