Tbh as someone in a t4t relationship after being in Not That the amount of just... baseline understanding you get from dating someone who is trans too brings so much comfort. Don't have to explain or justify yourself, your identity or anything related to it bc they also have felt similar things. I've never felt this validated or confident in my sense of self compared to being with any of my past cis partners
