The Fennaixelphoxian urge to take existing games and make them so needlessly complex that they loop back around into being nothing but Calvinball just because it's funny

What's up gamers, it's ya boi Phox. 23 yo furry, Pac-Man shitposter, Fennekin and Hisui Zorua appreciator, and occasional hobbyist. I exist, sometimes, also. I haven't decided yet.
I don't really post much of my own stuff, but I do occasionally share NSFW/kink stuff, so please be 18+.

bluhh cohost is insufferable to browse in the wayback machine because something makes the javascript unhappy after a few seconds, and cohost has terminal SPA disease meaning when the javascript is unhappy the whole page disappears
js archaeology polyfill that detects when it's running from the wayback machine and staticizes the entire page
"hey, cool open source project you have there! i just noticed that you don't have a wiki, and i don't really want to dig through your discord, could you put up some info?", followed by
"hey, this looks pretty cool! do you have a guide or wiki- oh thanks for the link"
"hey, this looks nice, but your documentation is pretty out-of-date/doesn't cover the newest changes/is a little vague on this topic/doesn't mention this niche feature, which wasted a lot of my time, could you please fix it soon?"
"hi, i saw the how-to page but honestly a lot of words, could u just walk me through setting it up for me ty"
and some "oh do i even want to make this if it'll take me so long to explain all the details up-front"
making proper documentation can be extremely time-consuming. it doesn't save time over answering questions yourself - Users fundamentally can't read. it does slow you down a ton, and even put off a few people, while being absolutely demoralizing to keep up for your free-time project.
"i'm not going to be able to use your Thing if there's no dedicated website for it" then don't lol. you're not obligated to have convenient easy access to my free hobby work.
maybe help me out, or idk pay me, then i'll give you the nicely branded 2-click-installer or whatever that you're Actually asking for
