Experience Metamorphosis. Embrace Purpose.

When an experience is fundamentally bad, the deviations from expectation are ugly and bad.

"The trip would have enjoyable had I not been sick."

"She seemed so beautiful and nice, but then she broke my heart so brutally."

"Maybe I would look back fondly on my childhood if I could remember any of it."

This is where hyperreality appeals to me. If I couldn't ever have something to begin with, isn't it better to imagine something rather than nothing at all? Isn't it necessary to balance out the cold, grasping void with something of substance, even if you concocted that substance artificially yourself?
