Maybe this is just my vibe, but I feel like much of society has forgotten how to mourn.
We don't know how to mourn, so we don't know our history. We don't know what lessons to take from the past. We don't know how to distinguish tragedies that repeat themselves from one-of dangers. We don't know how to respect those who have suffered loss different from our own.
