The real wish fulfillment of vtuber groups is having a friend circle of 10+ people full of gays, gamers, autism blorbos, littles, and edge-lords that somehow get along well enough to at least pretend to like each other.
Like maybe its just me, being a traumaqueer and hanging out with traumaqueers- but so many of my friend groups are little islands and at any given moment one of those friend islands can decide its done with another friend island. And this is without going into the complexity of "which friends islands are comfortable with the entirety of my person" or "is this friend island open to conflict, or even willing to handle conflict in a healthy way."
I think our late capitalism world stacks the deck against people getting along. Its so exhausting.
