The long dead knight rustled from of her slumber. Her joints moved, animated by unholy magic. Her soul was plucked from paradise into this rotting corpse, and suddenly she could not remember what she was doing before.
"Who dares disturb me!?!" The paladin demanded, somehow speaking despite being mostly bone.
"Oh hey-" The necromancer smiled with surprising softness, "Uhm.. I was wondering if you wanted to be part of my all girls undead adventuring party... You know- like explore dungeons, walk on beaches, save towns, slowburn yearning... The normal stuff."
The knight was dumbstruck. Her skeletal jaw lied open for a solid minute.
"Uhm... no thank you. I was having a pretty good time in the afterlife. Which exists, I think."
"Oh..." The necromancer looked sad yet understanding. "Uhm. Thank you for your honesty."
The paladin immediately lost animation. Her bones clattered back into her grave.
The necromancer looked at her party of ghouls- currently composed of two warlocks, a rogue, and a bard. "You think we're ever going to make balanced party at this point?"
Tassels the undead musician was quick to encourage her. "You just gotta find a tank who ain't a party pooper! There's gotta at least be one in this cemetery!"
