oh right I can have Opinions here without it getting tiresome:

I think in concept E123 Omega is my favorite Sonic character, but every game I've actually seen him in has been disappointing. Like- he's a violently independent Eggman bot who wants to be free of/violently murder his creator, how do you manage to fumble that?

I mean, I hear he's handled great in the IDW comics, but the IDW comics handle everyone well, y'know? But I think of Heroes and yeah, he was pretty solid there save for the acting direction being a little goofy, then Shadow and 06 happened and like... I think the problem is maybe a little less "he's not handled well" and more "they do not put my boy in Good Games"

E-102 Gamma > E-123 Omega tbh. Gamma was willing, in-game, to die for the simple cause of returning a baby bird to its family, to no longer rely on it for energy after it completed its mission of freeing the other birds. Gamma is the whole reason why eggman doesn't use animals as a power source anymore and tbh that's fucking baller. They can't bring him back because it would go against everything he lived and died for.

I'm not as familiar with Omega tbh, he's more like... fine.
