the future is uncertain, but as someone who pivoted to cohost as my main social media, i need it if i want to make anything of my art without returning to twitter and completely rebuilding a following on bluesky. (which, last time i checked, still fucking iteratively recompressed my photos until they're below 1mb, ruining them). i am optimistic. why?
because being pessimistic about shit like this puts a knot in the pit of my stomach. i will work and make things and if something bad happens i will keep rolling on. i know how to contact my friends, and people who want to see my work will know how to find me. if nothing happens, i will have made good things. if the worst outcome among many possible outcomes happens...
it's only a website. i've changed websites before. and i still will have made good things. and those aren't going anywhere, because I've got the negatives, and 3-2-1 backups.
