It was wonderful. I popped the idea to the video gaming lead and he kept it a secret from everybody. The con chair found out when he saw the cabs on Friday and allegedly his first reaction was to ask if I was getting compensated for it. I barely ever got to try and diagnose why chunithm wasn't connecting to network because if I ever saw an empty cab it would fill up before I could walk the ten feet over to it. Apparently people were willing to wait an hour to play. They let me go up on stage during closing ceremonies to say thanks and I'm waiting to see if anyone recorded it.

WACCA fell on me during load-in so I kinda hobbled around a little bruised throughout the con, but I still had a ton of fun even when I wasn't in the game room! I ran a meetup panel for rhythm gamers where we passed the mic around and infodumped about our favorite games. My friend shuffle danced in the middle of the panel room and then dipped to go win the dance contest. I dragged some housemates out to see the game room and check out the Saturday rave and one of them went off on the dance floor in their Kiryu cosplay. My partner and I slow danced in the middle of a room party and almost got way too horny for the crowd. I got extremely crossfaded with a good friend and went party hopping until we ended up taking the scariest ride of our lives (we were not the ones driving) out to Whataburger at 4am. I injured myself two more times during load-out somehow??

I barely even got to suit around or do much con programming because I was so busy between helping the game room and bonding with friends. 15/10 con would do it all again. Unforgettable weekend. I forgot to take pictures as I always do. I'm still sore.
