it is actually hilarious just how quickly i latched onto fantasy zone despite only having played it in full like... months ago . all it took was one (1) hit via the one sonic superstars late-game level for me to end up here, trying 2 decide if FZ2DX or the original FZ is tied with NiGHTS into dreams... for my favorite game i've ever played . life's wild like that
update after almost a month:
- i bought a sega master system (jp) specifically to play fantasy zone 1 (and 2) on it, making it my latest Fucking Thing I Can Play Fantasy Zone On
- i am waiting for it And the sega ages 2500 vol. 3 remake of FZ1 to arrive at my house
- it will join my copy of sega ages 2500 vol. 33 (fantasy zone complete collection), sega 3d classics collection (contains 3 fantasy zone games), and my 2 copies of fantasy zone for the saturn
- and also the various roms and digital rereleases spread across my portable gamig systems
fantasy zone (1986) is my favorite game of all time.
