hey kid wanna buy some neutch? [compilation of resources for learning The Neutral in fighting games]
-
Matchaboo's article on fundamentals. It's GG-oriented but widely applicable. Here's Sajam covering it with examples from other fighting games.
-
Krackatoa's neutral.mp4. Same as above.
-
Cutcc's Adaptation in Fighting Games. This one is Tekken oriented and it's like a review of a long set, but I didn't know any tekken and still learned stuff from it.
-
Footsie's Trilemma. Explained with FOOTSIES the game.
There's also the footsies' handbook which is more like a collection of strategies... It wasn't in the right format for me (i need more context) but there's a lot of cool information in there.
Lastly, there's Juicebox's My Explanation of Footsies but he's abrasive and even though there's insightful stuff in there I can't wholeheartedly recommend it. He uses examples from SFIV though, so it's easier to connect to SF6.
