i'm listening to def leppard's pyromania and hysteria albums back-to-back for basically the first time, and... what happened in between them?
it sounds like they aimed straight for the radio! they turned from a poppy rock band into a loud '80s pop metal monolith, and i'm not sure i like it.
maybe i'll start liking it in a few weeks! i already liked pour some sugar on me, and i tend to warm up to albums over time if they're something i didn't expect.
