daily knowledge: in 2011, coca-cola introduced a special white can featuring silver polar bears on it to celebrate the holiday season. 
the public was, of course, outraged, and coca-cola dropped the design after only one month.

This is one of those things where normally I'd be like "there's no way people went crazy about a can", but I remember the complete pandemonium these caused at work when people thought the vending machine guy had only restocked the machine with Diet Cokes.
