Land of the Free is my favourite power metal album. I love how every song is crammed full of tasty melodies while still having grit and Kai Hansen's snarl. The first two songs are the best.
Song 1 is Rebellion in Dreamland: nine minutes of mid-paced grandeur with melodies that are so satisfying to hear. And when it speeds up in the middle? Perfection.
Song 2 is Man on a Mission. It's frantic – every verse, chorus, and solo pushes forward with the mad rush of someone who desperately needs hope, and needs it fast.
What we need right now is a miracle on earth
