Maribelle/Aurida passed away on December 13th.
Back then, I was feeling lost. The harassment would not stop. And even to this day, it still has not ended. I sought out advice from Maribelle, who had experienced eerily similar things from a different person, and he could not offer anything. I think he had given up.
9 months later I've found the answer to the question I asked him.
How do you deal with persistent stalkers?
Remember that they are taking a video game way too seriously. They are the ones wasting away obsessing over something that doesn't matter.
Focus on being happy and take solace in the fact that you have what they do not: meaningful connections with friends who want the best for you. Friends who make you laugh and smile and love you and whom you love in return. Friends to accomplish goals with... friends to help each other become better people. Friends to play the dang video game with.
Always remember that you are loved, and bring happiness to other people. So few people hate you like your stalker does. Many people admire you and appreciate you. And most people don't even know you enough to dislike you!
So just deal with it by ignoring them. Or at the very least be entertained by their miserable attempts at striking at your happiness which you have so rightfully earned and deserve. Laugh and smile with your friends.
Because they are the miserable ones, and not you.
