Depends on what you want to do -- for game development you might want a specific intro tailed to the engine you're using -- but as far as textbooks go, I remember liking Microsoft's own Visual C# Step by Step, which was updated for VS2022 not too long ago. It's mostly meant as an introduction to C# as its own language, but it is written out in enough detail that you could also use it as a general programming intro in a pinch (maybe borrow it first if you can)

MS also offers some nice free online tutorials themselves which let you compile and run code in the browser.
