I couldn't decide what way i should interpret the "have problems with" part of this so here's some random short answers to three possibilities:
Character I like but have problems with (playing as): Jack-O (strive). I feel like the coolest version of myself could play Jack-O but she's simply too much for me right now while I have other characters that are also fun and rewarding and easier for me to figure out. But she's the ultimate silly girl and i love her regardless. maybe i need to go over to xrd and figure her out there instead
Character I like but have problems with (fighting against): Hilda (under night in birth). Her gameplan is so oppressive, she can really just gatekeep you. but shes an evil woman who goes ohohoho so like i have to love her
Character I like but have problems with (lore): I know she's like my stream mascot so maybe this is shocking but, May. I love silly funny dolphin mischief girl but may being in love with johnny is cringe and it's too much of her character. get some taste girl! my only hope for johnny in strive was that they'd resolve that and make her get over it but no tragically arcsys remains married to this...

Really wish with Strive's "embracing yourself and moving on to your best life" themes they'd leaned into all of May's win quotes vs. female chars in Xrd being like "Oh wow she's so incredibly hot!! Uhh... I mean stay away from Johnny!!" and just had her be gay and recontextualize the Johnny fixation
its not just Xrd its been that way the whole time!! she's got gay winquotes even in X! it seriously felt like the time for her to get over it i dont know why they did that!! She's such a clear "girl who pines for an unattainable guy to hide from the fact that she's gay" character...
