godddd i also had this reaction. nobody talks about her ever! you'd think she'd come up as like. a reference point when Battler is dealing with Maria?
though, it's possible he just has barely interacted with her, if she was born while he was away...
Yeah, I actually had a moment earlier today where I was thinking to myself what the deal is with Battler's Sister. I forget why they said she isn't there, but not even like, the other cousins really bring her up? It comes off like every reunion it's just Jessica, George, and Maria, but wouldn't she have come other years? I guess there's no indication how old she is though
She has to be important though right? there's no way they'd leave an entire Ushiromiya unmurdered right?
I believe they mention her being sick, and I wonder if she's like.... chronically ill or something? and just can't travel... but yeah it's weird and feels like surely there must be Something. can't just have, an unimportant sister surely...
