the fucked up thing is that Battler himself would be the easiest "is actually dead and replaced with an imposter", but idk if that would even 'solve' anything since he doesn't die til the end anyways
yeah battler would be the perfect imposter, but he's the protagonist so like, what's the point? Like you COULD make a story around that and it could even be great but it does not feel like it makes anything about what's going on in umineko make sense nor does it feel like what we're building to
