the epitaph is weird.... I honestly felt like it should maybe have required some special knowledge of Bice, if anything? like if the reason it exists is to try to "find" Beatrice, why's it a quiz on Kinzo (i mean, because he's a self-obsessed asshole is why, but still)
yeah the golden truths exclusively amount to "this corpse is definitely kinzo's" (does not indicate what corpse is being referred to) and elder beato telling egg beato that she did magic. It's. It's not much!
I seriously wish there was like, literally any explanation as to why Genji and Kumasawa are so devoted to Kinzo. I guess he pays well?? I dont want that to be the reason they try to rationalize for his shit though...

Yeah, the epitaph is really leaving me scratching my head, i definitely thought it was more meaningful to me as a reader than it actually is. In the end it's just Kinzo self-aggrandizing... Given it was devised at the same time as the mansions were being built, I guess there's no way he was planning around "finding Beatrice", but I wonder why it became that in a way when it has nothing to do with her...
