what if a fish could post

i also have a website

2023 is almost over and i haven't watched a new tv show yet, so i am asking everyone what my dedicated tv show of the year should be.

(i know this is the andor website. i also don't know what happens in the star wars movies.)

andor
interview with the vampire
pluto
scavengers reign
the terror
see results

edit: thanks for the responses everyone :yeah: i'm watching scavengers reign now since i knew andor would be overrepresented, so i divided its votes in half. sorry star wars. but i'd like to get to all of these eventually!

in reply to @fish's post:

i have not seen the bear and am definitely interested in checking it out! sydney seems nice :)
didn't put it in the poll since i'm limiting it to miniseries/shows with only one season so far. otherwise i would truly be lost in the television sea

I don't think you need to know much about Star Wars to enjoy Andor. It will give you a lot of background for itself from the start - that's one of the reasons it does initially move slowly, because it's taking time to establish the settting, the characters, character history and relationships, and so on. That should work pretty well for folks who haven't watched the movies or other Star Wars series too. If you do decide to dip into it, it kicks off a lot more in the third episode, and eventually has some of the best writing that I've seen in a TV show in recent years.

Out of all the other shows, I am currently midway through watching Pluto. It's at least not as many episodes as some of the other shows, so might be a nice option for if you don't want to commit to a longer box set.

The Terror is pretty good too. Also slow paced. It's better than the book its based on.
