My stupid toy https://breakmessage.com/ continues apparently to be useful to a few people, so I guess I'll keep it up (this weekend, I made the first changes since 2022).

Paying dreamhost $100/year for this though seems kind of ridiculous and overpowered. I just want to host a few static pages that do what they do through client-side javascript, and an email address or two associated with the domain. Some vague measure of how popular it is would also be useful, but I don't want to embed stuff that makes me need to pop up one of those cookie consent screens.

oh man i don’t know where you should go, but it really doesn’t feel like it should be that expensive. i deffo know that dreamhost sucks tho so maybe move out of that. i know github pages offers free site hosting iirc
