So goddamn happy to be away from my old office.
Honestly, I could have dealt with the high pressure nature of the job if that were the only thing, but the situation in the office was crazy too. I left because I was sick of catching abuse from my boss.
In fact, let's talk about that for a second.
People are complicated and rarely all good or all bad. That includes abusive personalities. Someone who is intermittently abusive might be otherwise reasonable and that might make you second guess the shittiness of your situation. Maybe they aren't so bad, maybe I'm the one who sucks - don't fall into the trap of thinking that way.
I finally stopped taking shit and I'm in a way better place because of it.
