Still thinking about yesterday's UFO hearing. Something went down there, be it misdirection or otherwise.

I think most people are failing to take into account the process that Grusch went through prior to this hearing. Powerful people within the DoD elevated his case and allowed him to come forward.

Either there's something here or the government is working some kind of angle on us. The thing is, most people didn't give a shit about the hearing and all indications are that it will be forgotten if nothing ever follows it up, so it would have made for a pretty limp psyop.

...This is probably one of those things I just shouldn't think about because I'll never get a satisfying answer.

The IG elevated his claim and done said it was spooky urgent himself. Guy went through a whole ass process.

I can't find a source on that! The closest I can find to people giving him permission to testify is something like this, where they say the DoD "approved" the information he presented.

Except then later on they clarify that "approved" means "he wasn't going to say anything classified", which imo means that everything he was saying was fictitious, because there's no way it's true and unclassified and yet we haven't heard it before now.

I think this is a dude going schizo and repeating random second-hand hearsay and fabrications, and various officials throwing up their hands as he plows through a system that doesn't actually have a way to stop someone talking shit but not actually violating any classified material laws.
