My thoughts on Baldur’s Gate 3 as of the third act:
It’s very good. Sometimes feels like it’s held together by duct tape and glue when you hit it from a weird angle, but it almost always does hold together.
I like the party. I don’t feel a visceral blood bond with them as one does with the FF14 crew yet, but there is a growing fondness.
The fantasy elements are very creative and weird. Also, as someone who bounces off of CRPGs every single time: I cannot stop playing.
I recommend it.
I want a CRPG with a bumping JRPG score and I don’t care who knows it.
Mimickry. I can do everything your party can do.
I have a thing for boss fights like this. They force you to think about your kit in a way you've never had to before. Like, oh god, it really sucks for the enemy when I get huge, huh?
