it's a good thing I've been working on my resilience, because this week has been fuckin testing it

update: we are resolving our ongoing difficulties (the status of our household dynamic is shaky, but headed in the right direction) and every single one of my partners has told me how incredibly relieving it is that I'm being Extremely Normal about things compared to last year, and how proud of me they are

tbh I'm proud of me too πŸ˜ΈπŸ’ž

been having a really good week so far (: getting the hang of mitigating my brain weirds on therapy days, and finally starting to feel like I'm capable of emotionally supporting my partners through their struggles again. it's so wild to feel so much more stable during stressful situations and in control of my emotions than I did this time last year.

I know every week won't always go this smoothly, but it's just really nice to be able to go with the flow and stay afloat when the waters do get a bit choppy

LOL so hilariously, within about 30 minutes of making this post, there was An Event that triggered my anxiety something fierce

BUT the great news is that I handled my emotions like a champ and reached out for help appropriately, and I didn't even cry about it this time. you know what that is?? Growth
