I love to disclose my transness on medical intake paperwork and demand respect for it; I like it much better this way compared to when everybody looks confused about a person named "Kat" (or worse, my extremely feminine deadname) showing up with a beard. like yes hello, I AM Trans of Gender, you WILL see me as such and you WILL NOT question me further
it's been just over 2 weeks (11 business days) since I filed my petition for a legal name change. how long does this stuff usually take to go through; I'm losing my goddamn mind
(I have already accepted that I will likely not get my final decree before my driver's license expires next week, so I'll just deal with that. but man,)
