it's been just over 2 weeks (11 business days) since I filed my petition for a legal name change. how long does this stuff usually take to go through; I'm losing my goddamn mind
(I have already accepted that I will likely not get my final decree before my driver's license expires next week, so I'll just deal with that. but man,)
now I must sit here and wait in intense agony until I receive further things in the mail (either a hearing summons or simply the legal deed itself I guess?? unclear)
I have no idea if it will show up in time for my driver's license to expire in about 2.5 weeks. just part of the agony I suppose lmao
