I have been making a concerted effort to get out of bed before 9:30 in the morning, and 1) it's nice because now I actually feel like I have more time to get through my morning routine; 2) it's having a welcome side effect on me in that I'm actually getting tired before/by 11pm, which encourages me to go to bed at a decent hour more often, which makes it easier to get out of bed earlier in the morning
fucking up your sleep schedule is a cyclical spiral, but it turns out that fixing it can be too (just upwards instead of downwards)
