therapy is one of those “fuck why does this have to hurt so bad” kind of things
One thing I think about a lot during, before and after my therapy appointments is that it's under the hammer that steel gets its shape.

heading back home tomorrow~ this vacation has been so great. exactly what I needed.
I was originally planning on getting right back to my volunteer job the day after tomorrow, but I decided it's probably a better idea to play it safe in case I need recovery after another 5+ hours of travel in cramped spaces (very likely), so I took myself off the schedule for this week. I will work much more effectively with some time to rest up tbh
today I went to a ceramic painting place and painted a pretty mug 😻 sadly, it will not be fired and ready for me to take home before I leave the state, but my friends have promised to keep it safe for me in the meantime!
I also got some poutine for dinner and it was really tasty, BUT it's also now giving me some real bad reflux burps. there was probably corn in the gravy, is my assumption. unfortunate
I am truly living my best life while on vacation right now, and it's so incredible not feeling guilty about it for the first time in my entire life
