all the hugs all the time

I am a logic puzzle fiend. I'd heard good things about Tametsi (which came out in 2017), but I hadn't picked it up until recently. It is good. Very good. It has very little in the way of graphics, and no music at all. The puzzles are so good though. It allows you to work on more than one puzzle at a time while saving your progress, so you can switch between them when you get stuck.

I waffled on what to read next. I picked up and put down a few different books before getting into the first book I picked up, which was The Visitor by Sheri S. Tepper. Sparser prose and less description tends to be my preference, but after 20 pages of adjusting I think I've finally gotten into this one.

i was so honored to be asked by the doodle team to do music for their extremely ambitious doodle, celebrating the life of pioneering game tech developer jerry lawson (aka the man responsible for inventing the exchangeable game cartridge, leading the way for the NES, SNES, megadrive/genesis and so on!)

i approached each in-game track with limitations suitable for the time (so the 8bit track and 16bit track are at least somewhat within range of what would be feasible on equivalent hardware of the time)--while the "edit mode" and "menu" tracks are meant to be "outside" the machine, set in jerry lawson's workshop, an optimistic and happy creative mood!

please check out the doodle and read more about jerry lawson's history here
