When I bought this hand-dyed roving several months ago, I was drawn to it because it reminded me of that campground (and river, specifically) I just posted about recently. Now that I've just been there and have finished my last spinning project, I decided it was time to turn this roving into yarn. This is 4 oz. of BFL (Blue-faced Leicester, the breed of sheep the wool is from) mixed with a little silk. I love spinning BFL, especially with some silk thrown in. A follow-up post to come, once I've finished plying, skeining, and setting!
