I've got good news, and I've got bad news. They're both critically important to our survival within the next few minutes, but I figured I'd get cute about this because there's like a little irony thing happening between the two pieces of news.

i honestly really like the way how so much of writing is like... disconnected from reality in ways to tell better stories, if that makes sense? dunno how to phrase it properly. (well that's another one, people barely ever need a half-hour to compose the best articulation of what they want to say)
