Though the Snail is not an integral part of gameplay, it can be interacted with in many of the same ways as a plant can. For example, it can be sprayed with the same water that you would use to hydrate your plants, resulting in a status of "Wet." It can also be sung to just like plants, resulting in the same varying levels of happiness. None of these activities have any actual effect on the Snail, however -- they're just for fun.
