in my current campaign, we started with:

  • two playbooks from the base game (the Captain and the Scout)
  • two from the first-party expansion, Encore (the Advocate and the Revenant)
  • and two third party playbooks, the Janus by @ahcoffeebeans and The Mole by @SiFSweetman

recently the Captain's player decided to switch out his character (after some dramatic in-character splits in the party) and we're introducing The Magus, another third party playbook.

It feels great to have a community of support around a game; I haven't run a game with this kind of energy in a while tbh

Tbh the downside of all the cool mech games having a “make your own setting!” vibe is the lack of GM-facing community stuff. I would love some fan-designed Sorties for Armour Astir

Then again the setting my players made is extremely sick (eg Divine power comes from planets, which are living gods and Profane power is free energy, but it summons demons from another dimension)
