Hey folks! The holidays have had their stresses, but everything keeps rolling along at the Export Audio network! Click through to check out all the podcasts we've done this week.

On Gotham City Limits, Em and I have changed gears a bit and started covering two episodes of Batman: The Animated Series each week. I think that's already made the show even more fun as we covered The Mechanic and Harley and Ivy. Harley and Ivy in particular is both a weird episode unto itself and also a lot of fun as a window into the next 30 years of Batman. That episode is out now for $1 patrons and it will be in the free feed at exportaud.io/batman on Monday the 19th.

Ornate Stairwells wrapped up season 1 of Twin Peaks in a fun three hour episode where we talked about a whole lot of different things. After realizing we aren't quite suited for a week-to-week television podcast, we've switched up the format a little bit to get back to our usual style, and I think it paid off in a big way for this episode. That episode is out now for $1 patrons and will be out on Tuesday the 20th in the free feed at exportaud.io/ornatestairwells. For our next episode, we'll be talking about that Christmas classic, Die Hard, and the other uhhh ten movies I watched this week lol. Check out exportaud.io/stairwellquality to see more details about that!

Coffee & Comic Books dropped an episode for our $5 patrons that I really enjoyed. Rick and I covered The Winter Men, a mid 00s book written by Brett Lewis and illustrated by John Paul Leon, which was just fucking great. It also gave us a lot of fun tangents to go on as we talk about a bunch of other creators and books we love that are loosely connected to this one. We'll be back in a couple weeks to talk about Jack Kirby's adaptation of 2001: A Space Odyssey and the 10 issue series that spun out of it.

On Pardon My Franchise, Nora and I journey into the terrifying world of 2005 with George Romero's Land of the Dead. It's a movie that has its faults, mostly to do with the era it was made in, but it also had a lot of interesting, thorny science-fictiony ideas in it that made us ultimately enjoy the movie. There's a surprising depth to this movie, and we had a really good discussion about it. You can hear that now if you're a $1 patron and in the free feed on Thursday the 22nd at exportaud.io/franchise.

That's it for us this week! As always I want to also recommend something that friends make, and this week I've got TWO things from the Audio Entropy network that I'm really excited to tell you about. Totally Reprise has finished their Twin Peaks season and I couldn't be happier for them. Go check out their final episode of this season and look forward to their mini-season on National Treasure that will follow it up. And soon, MCU Complete Me's spin-off show Show Me The Batcave will have an episode up on 1978's Superman, but why wait when you can just give my friend Crystal $2 to hear it now
