Hi folks! If you're new here, my wife and I run a podcast network called Export Audio and every week I gather up all the shows we do in one big Cohost post. I'm really proud of the work we do and hope that you check us out and subscribe on patreon by going to exportaud.io.

On Gotham City Limits, Em and I are watching through Batman: The Animated series two episodes and having a lot of fun. This week we watched a kind of silly nothing episode, Blind as a Bat, and a fucking sick episode, His Silicon Soul, where Batman gets into a sword fight with Terminator Batman. If you want to hear that discussion, it is out now for our patrons and will be out on Monday the 9th in the free feed at exportaud.io/batman. Next time we will be talking about the classic two-parter The Demon's Quest, so look forward to that!

On Ornate Stairwells, Niamh and I usually talk for a ridiculous amount of time about a movie we've watched together as well as all the movies we watched on our own each week. This time however, we mixed things up a little by calling Em and the three of us went through our top 15 movies we watched for the first time in 2022. It was a lot of fun to hang out and I for one walked away with like 10 movies I wanted to watch after that conversation. That episode is available now for patrons and will be in the free feed at exportaud.io/ornatestairwells on Tuesday the 10th. Next week, there will be a three and a half hour episode talking about the movies we watched over the holidays, Star Wars as fun fantasy setting and ideological trap, and two movies that play with color in fascinating ways. If you want to see a list of all the movies we've ever talked about for the show on main segments or otherwise, don't forget you can check out exportaud.io/stairwellquality.

Pondering Pootan is a comedy podcast about Cromartie High School hosted by Niamh and Connor. I won't spoil this week's episode, but there are fun surprises and top 10 anime betrayals. And if I may say so, this episode relies on deep Pootan lore, so you should go back and listen to the previous 21 episodes. They're only 30 minutes long though so it's not that big of a deal. ANYWAY that episode is up now for patrons and will be in the free feed at exportaud.io/pootan on Wednesday the 11th.

On Coffee & Comic Books, Rick and I host a book club about the wide world of comics. This week, we put out an episode on Jack Kirby's adaptation of 2001: A Space Odyssey and his subsequent 10 issue series expanding on it. It's some of the best work Kirby did in the 70s, exploring themes he's introduced in a lot of other work in ways that are bleak, bitingly satirical, and still a ton of fun. I can't recommend reading this enough and I can't recommend our episode enough. We also run through 10 things we read in 2022 that we loved, and you should tune in if only for Rick's list. I'm always delighted by how widely read Rick is and how he brings exciting things I've never heard of to the show. You can listen to that for free in the patreon feed or in its own feed at exportaud.io/comicbooks. Next week, we will have an episode exclusive to $5 patrons about the graphic novel Arsène Schrauwen by Olivier Schrauwen, and after that we will begin our coverage of Naoki Urasawa's Billy Bat in a series of four episodes. The first two of those will be available for free, but to hear the other two you'll have to subscribe at the $5 tier.

Ghost Divers is an anime podcast where Niamh and Connor talk about series six episodes at a time. This week they finished up watching Kino's Journey 2003 joined by special guest kb. You can listen to that for free right now by going to exportaud.io/ghostdivers. They will be recording one more episode this week to look back on the show holistically as well as answer any emails that are sent their way. If you're a Kino head, be sure to get those emails in to ghostdiverspod@gmail.com before the weekend!

Last but not least, I wanna give a shout out to Journal Updated. This month's episode was all about the Fallout: New Vegas DLC and I really enjoyed it. That is available on our older sibling network, Abnormal Mapping, by going to thesecondbestgame.club.
