e finished up Laxdæla saga with some dénouement around the end of Guðrún’s life, including an absolutely banger section where a Magnificent Seven style crew assembles to seek vengeance against Helgi Harðbeinsson. We even get a strange kind of pointless call back to everyone’s favorite shitty guy turned ghost, Killer-Hrappr!
We also read the Tale of Bolli Bollason and learn all about the most incredible journey he ever took. No, not the time that he went to fUCKING CONSTANTINOPLE. It’s about the time he went out to the boonies and was kind of just a rich asshole to some hillbilly farmers. I love this piece of shit fancy lad so much.
