anyway, I'm interested in a lot of different stuff such that making a list would be a little silly so I'll focus here by saying:
My main creative endeavor at the moment is a sprawling interactive hypertext fiction with the working title "fielding" (or "田" internally), which may or may not be the final name but whatever. It currently (at the time of writing this) exists as ~511 html and markdown and txt files that I am primarily writing in Visual Studio Code, but sometimes i use Notepad and the first few versions were in Obisidian. The plan(goal(hope)) is to work on it for six years, then distribute the whole thing on USB drives (though there'll probably be a parallel web-hosted option.) I'm about a year and a half in.
"But what is it about?" I hear you asking balefully, and truly I wish I had a more solid answer for you, but at the moment I'm still very much figuring it out. You start in your rural apartment and have several options available to explore your surroundings. I'm very reticent to say too much more than that, since 1) I don't want to spoil anything and 2) I'm not sure how much will remain by the time I'm done. The setting is sometime in a fairly near future, which is to say: further into the many systemic collapses that are currently unfolding. It's interested in the split between rural and metropolitan trans communal experiences, even though it's mostly quite solitary at the moment. It's intimate. It's very quietly fanfiction? Mainly it's an attempt to wholeheartedly inquire towards what I want to write and disregard any hope that it will be widely received or understood, lol
There is an early attempt at exploring these ideas on, you guessed it, my website, but it is kind of secret and hidden away. I'll give you the only hint I've ever given anyone on how to find it: an entry point is on the 88 Rhizome Dr. page. If you find it, could you let me know? I'd be so touched. There's also a draft of v2.7 and fuck if you find that then PLEASE just email me or something so I can send you the updated version? I'd really appreciate it and i swear you'd have a better time anyway!
anyway, 2 months ago or so i finished a draft of version 2.9 and sent it off to a few friends for their feedback. I'm still in the process of getting that feed..back, but y'know, things take time. seeds don't sprout overnight, fruits don't rot as fast as you'd think. I've started work on v3, keep an eye on my blog or just find a way to talk to me if you want to keep up to date. <3
