emrys (& co)

i know that some people are annoyed by banter (and i can be too if everyone talks the exact same way or it’s not tonally appropriate, as is so often the case with shit like the more recent stuff from the mcu) but there’s a very genuine delight at hearing two characters with well defined personalities and voices just chat as friends and exchange playful jabs. it makes them feel more like real people rather than just vehicles for a grander plot and i like being able to relate to characters on that level
