my taylor swift hater post is doing thousands of severals on tumblr and people in the notes are like "ooh OP welcome to witness protection" and "OP swinging a bat at the hornet's nest with this one". why in the hell do we treat pop star stans like they're actually capable of doing anything to us. i've gotten 2 anonymous hate messages and one of them was just the word "gross". i'm not scared of a 19 year old calling me an idiot and telling me to let people enjoy things. the swifties are not a threat to me
the people i know who like her work are fairly normal about it. they get that i don't like it and they don't get extremely insecure and defensive about it. they get that people like different things. the foaming-at-the-mouth stans should take a cue and calm down but at the end of the day, they don't matter. i don't live in stan world. they might as well be on mars
