i love using fic to act out the same sorts of absurd plots i used to give my barbies. yeah let’s pick up a brand new one and make them Narratively Significant in the grand scheme of this preexisting interpersonal relationship by way of fucked up plots at the hand of a manipulative shithead mastermind with too much power (fueled by the intrusive thoughts of a traumatized creative). let’s give nick the same kind of problems hancock and nora have. let’s make them all foils. and then let’s make them all kiss each other better while they try to move forward and heal from the various ordeals they’ve been put through by the narrative
