i love characters like hancock and cooper howard because they’re literally just Decent Dudes Who Are Trying but the world they live in sucks So Unbelievably Bad and makes everyone shitty as a survival mechanism. yes they kill people for fun and profit but they got good hearts if you look hard enough (though coop makes you look really hard)
