“the doctor doesn’t know how old he is” factoid actually statistical error. eight georg, who woke up with such bad amnesia he forgot what species he was, is an outlier adn subsequent claims of being 900 should not have been counted

#shut up emrys #tgis is a joke don’t come for me. but also iirc eight once claimed to be 1012. which is higher than 900 #i love speculation on the doctor’s age SO MUCH #like yeah yeah time travel but that’s still a physical person with a linear progression through their personal timestream #and trying to make sense of it is such a fun little puzzle!#more fun than the unit dating controversy anyway. that just gives me a headache #(yeah i’m aware of the aging and de-aging during the time war. i just think it’s less interesting than the doctor straight up lying)
