i self-diagnosed earlier this year and got really in my head, doubting myself, so i found an online assessment to book (there is no provider in the Nova Scotia public health system that assesses autism in adults. lol. lmao even. canadian healthcare is so broken) BUT he is also extremely busy so the earliest our schedules lined up was TODAY, months later. Which was fine by me, i wasn't in a rush, but what i did was completely erase autism from my mind and everything i had been thinking about it until today and now im like "fuck he's gonna ask like, what i think about autism and when i think about it now and myself, my mind is blank."

having said that, i've watched a bunch of videos he sent w/ the booking email to like, recommend ppl get up to speed so he's not just educating you on the call but actually working to assess, and it's reminding me of everything i already knew/thought so that's good. but i just thought the title of this post was funny. also i'm getting bored watching these videos now but it seems easiest to tell him on the call "yes, i watched all the videos" so they're on the other monitor and i'm writing this out.
