I don’t really agree with the take about misogyny and pornography going around; I think it is a little naive and is like accusing people of blaming liquor store employees when they talk about an alcoholic’s antisocial behaviors. I don’t go out of my way to chide people and god knows I read a lot of stupid and indefensible shit myself that probably isn’t good for me, but I think the porn industry is one of the most evil things on earth and people who consume it regularly are gradually warping their perceptions of themselves and others in a way that is dangerous, subtle and difficult to recognize or undo.
